feeling old, feeling young
These are amazing. A photographer is helping people reconnect with their youth by photographing them in reenactments of childhood photos.
Irina Werning says of her work: "I love old photos. I admit being a nosey photographer. As soon as I step into someone else’s house, I start sniffing for them. Most of us are fascinated by their retro look but to me, it’s imagining how people would feel and look like if they were to reenact them today... A few months ago, I decided to actually do this. So, with my camera, I started inviting people to go back to their future."

I found these yesterday through some random Internet browsing and was blown away, such a great idea! I remember at one point my brothers and I were going to try and replicate a series of photos of all of us at various stages either sitting in or standing in 5 gallon buckets. Of course we have yet to do so, but maybe at some point we will actually get around to it.
